I have been practicing law in Washington State since 1980. I was born in Tokyo, raised in California, and graduated from Stanford University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Arts with distinction. After obtaining my law degree from the University of Washington Law School in 1980, I practiced law in Seattle for seven years.
