I am an employment and general business attorney with experience in transactional and litigation work. In my transactional practice, I advise businesses regarding contract interpretation, compliance with laws, and draft business related agreements. I audit businesses for compliance with federal and state employment laws, develop preventive policies, handbooks, employment agreements, and other employment documents to avoid employment claims and litigation. In my litigation practice, I draft pleadings and law in motion, conduct depositions, and attend hearings.

After growing up in Carmel, Indiana, Jonathan Cothran attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN where he received a B.A. in Law & Society. Three years later, Mr. Cothran received his concurrent M.B.A. and J.D. from Argosy University and Western State University College of Law in Orange County, California. Mr. Cothran is licensed to practice in California State courts and the Central District of California Federal courts. During law school, Mr. Cothran worked with a local attorney assisting families with developmentally disabled children gain conservatorships.
