My practice entails patent prosecution, licensing, and litigation support in the fields of data security including cryptographic techniques, blockchain, software generally, computer and radio networking, satellite communications, and telecommunications generally. I also practice U.S. export control law, with an emphasis on the export of encryption items.

Our firm specializes in litigation including insurance defense/coverage, medical malpractice, and investment suitability law. The firm is managed by seasoned trial, coverage, arbitration, and appellate attorneys.

I was a financial advisor at UBS and Charles Schwab before I attended law school at the University of San Diego. I am a Partner at Hayes Scott Bonino Ellingson Simonson Guslani & Clause, LLP. I moved up to Northern California to join the firm in 2011 leaving a similar firm in Orange County after I had twins.

Mr. Repka earned a BBA in finance from Pace University in 1993, a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law-Newark in 1999 and an LLM in Taxation from New York University in 2001. Shortly after obtaining his first law degree, Mr. Repka joined a New Jersey-based law firm that specialized in Estate Planning, Real Estate and Franchise law. Jeff Curl's bankruptcy practice is dedicated to representing individuals, small businesses and families in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 proceedings in San Mateo, San Francisco and Oakland. Michael Wiesner practices in the firm's tax and M&A groups. His work includes a focus on corporate transactions and cross-border entity structuring. He regularly advises on the tax aspects of multi-step mergers and acquisitions, including Internal Revenue Code section 351 investments in conjunction with mergers, section 355 spin-offs in conjunction with acquisitions, and complex sale/redemption structures.
