Prior to law, he served as a pararescue candidate and crew-chief in the United States Air Force in Japan, Korea, the Phillipines, Texas, and Virginia and also worked in financial planning and banking. He studied law at DePaul University College of Law in Chicago before returning to Denver where he practices estate planning, business law, and probate administration and litigation.
