I went to law school to work as a public defender. As I saw it, poor folks needed great representation, and I dedicated most of my life to the Colorado Public Defender's Office. During my work, I litigated complicated cases where I achieved great results. After almost 18 years, I decided to leave and apply my honed skills as a litigator to private practice. I advocate for clients on appeal by writing persuasive appellate briefs, motions, and petitions for postconviction relief. I also help clients with clemency applications, parole applications, and deregistration petitions.
