Ms. Carey has practiced law for the past thirty (30) years primarily in the area of bankruptcy and bankruptcy litigation; however, she also handles other matters including probate planing, estate administration, civil litigation, collection matters and some domestic law matters.

Jessie A. Cook represents individuals accused of major felonies in state and federal courts. She graduated from IU Maurer School of Law (1979, cum laude), the National College of Criminal Defense and the Darrow College of Capital Defense. She teaches advanced trial advocacy at the Maurer School of Law- Bloomington, and for various continuing legal education programs including the Federal Defender Organization, the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, and ICLEF’s Trial Advocacy Skills College. Travis focuses on labor and employment law, business law, and estate planning. He’s licensed to practice law in Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky. Travis graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he made Dean’s List seven terms and was a Law Journal executive editor. He and his wife Betsie, a public school teacher, live in Bloomington, Indiana, with their four children. Much of their free time is spent working on their small family farm.

I graduated cum laude from Drake University Law School where I was Chairman of our Moot Court Team, arguing in national competition. I greatly enjoyed learning the law and was a member of, and wrote for the Drake Law Review. Brandon is a former Division I student-athlete who played college football at the University of Miami (FL) and Lehigh University. He was a letterman for both programs and was the starting tailback for Lehigh University as a sophomore. Due to athletic injuries, he was unable to finish his collegiate career and completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University. Brandon graduated from Indiana University with high distinction, earning a 3.7 cumulative GPA, majoring in Sport Marketing and Management.
