I have been practicing law since 1981,initially licensed in Washington D.C., subsequently in Maryland in 1982and in Virginia in 1984. I am also admitted in all Federal Courts DC, Maryland and Virginia.My primary focus is on legal collections and creditor's rights for financial institutions, including major Federal Credit Unions. Additionally, I possess substantial experience in handling creditor's rights in bankruptcy cases, specifically under Chapter 11, Chapter 13, and Chapter 7.

My law practice is centered on the intersection of finance and law. I have worked in financial publishing, credit analysis, investment banking and consulting. I have structured and sold multi-billion dollar financings, and have helped people recover less than one hundred dollars. In my corporate law practice, I advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, partner buy outs, private security offerings, and other corporate actions. Nearly 20 years of trial experience at the state and federal level handling complex civil and criminal cases. I have tried hundreds of cases before judges and juries. My current focus is representing railroad workers in personal injury cases under the Federal Employers Liability Act and in whistleblower cases under the the Federal Railroad Safety Act.
