I am admitted to practice in Massachusetts (MA) and Rhode Island (RI) and serve people from Blackstone, Millville, Mendon, Uxbridge, Milford, Bellingham and Franklin, MA and Woonsocket, North Smithfield, Burrillville, Cumberland and Lincoln, RI as well as out of state clients with matters pending in any of the courts of Providence County, RI or Worcester, Norfolk and Bristol Counties in MA. I am also a Notary Public in both states as well as a licensed real estate broker in MA.

Kate Nicholson specializes in representing individuals, small businesses, creditors, and trustees in all variety of bankruptcy matters. I graduated from Massachusetts School of Law in 1996. Since graduation, I have practiced Bankruptcy almost exclusively. Within the context of Bankruptcy, I also deal with predatory lending, mortgage modifications and similar issues. On November 6, 2006, I became the first bankruptcy lawyer in Massachusetts in the last twenty years to argue a case before the US Supreme Court.
