It is important to move a case forward after a conviction has been affirmed on appeal. Although the Ohio Supreme Court does not accept all criminal appeals, appealing to it will exhaust state remedies to allow federal review of constitutional claims. Robert Muehleisen originally hails from Toledo, Ohio and is a 1990 graduate of Ohio University and a 1993 graduate of the University of Akron School of Law. He was admitted to practice in Ohio in 1993 and in Pennsylvania in 1995.
