After serving as law clerk on the Federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals for two years, entered private practice of law in 1972. Practice includes transactional commercial and residential real estate, small business, wills and estate planning, and franchising law.

My clients are business owners who are concerned that they are not complying with employment laws. I work with them to create policies, procedures, and manuals and provide training, investigations, and counseling regarding hiring, firing, and compliance with employment laws. I also work with business owners who want to start, buy, operate, or sell a business or a commercial real estate property.

Matthew has been nominated as a Rising Star in 2021 and 2022 in the field of Family Law. Only 2.5% of all attorneys receive this honor chosen by other attorneys.

Jordan H. Walker, Esq. is an income partner at Sever Storey and has been with the firm in some capacity since 2010. Mr. Walker attended the University of Missouri for undergrad and earned two bachelor’s degrees–one in journalism and one in political science. Mr. Walker then set out on fulfilling his childhood dream of becoming an attorney by attending the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and graduating in 2012. Prior to becoming an attorney, David had an accomplished 20-year career as a Navy SEAL. He deployed numerous times to various countries around the world, including Afghanistan and Iraq. David was selected and served as an instructor at the Navy’s Basic Underwater Demolition School (BUD/S). He earned multiple awards including three Bronze Stars with Combat V, a Navy Commendation medal and two Navy Achievement medals.
