Following graduation, I served in the United States Army in the Army Security Agency and, after receiving a commission, in the Army Artillery. I was released from duty after obtaining the rank of Captain. Then in 1969, I started a 40-year practice of law primarily in the Rio Grande Valley assisting clients in commercial and business matters, including litigation.
