Emma grew up in Houston, Texas. She later moved to San Marcos, Texas and received a Bachelor of Arts in English at Texas State University. In college, she discovered her passion for justice and advocacy. After graduating from college, Emma knew she wanted to return to her roots and practice law in Houston. Duke Bonilla is a South Texas native and belongs to a network of family members practicing law throughout Texas. He proudly served as a member of the Texas A&M University Corp of Cadets, and obtained his Bachelor of Arts and Master’s Degree from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. He is a law school graduate of South Texas College of Law.
