Before joining the firm, he focused his legal career on criminal defense across municipal, state, and federal jurisdictions. During his time at law school in Madison, Patrick developed a strong interest in criminal law, particularly in defending those accused of crimes. He gained valuable experience as a law clerk for Judge Ralph Ramirez in the Waukesha County Circuit Court.
