Harold M. Goldner
Helping employees and employers with workplace issues for decades.
Mr. Goldner’s practice is devoted to relieving sources of conflict and stress in the workplace. He handles employment discrimination claims on behalf of both employees and employers from filing of claims through trial, verdict and appeal. He prepares human resources policies and procedures for employers as well as offering training to employers and even fellow lawyers on employment claim avoidance. He drafts and interprets restrictive covenants and other professional contracts both on behalf of those businesses seeking to secure their assets and for employees looking to make career changes, and enforces and defends these contracts in state and Federal courts.
A trial lawyer with 40 years of courtroom and appellate experience, Mr. Goldner also serves on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company and serves on its Underwriting, Claims, Governance, and Enterprise Risk Management Committees. He also serves as Chair of the Lower Merion Township Human Relations Commission and helped draft it's enabling ordinance and regulations. Mr. Goldner also has written numerous professional and technology pieces which have been published in national and regional publications and he has appeared for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, American Bar Association, and many county bar and other trade and professional associations speaking on employment, electronic discovery, litigation and other technology topics. Most recently his piece “How to Succeed with Staff” was published in the ABA’s GPSolo Magazine.
When not practicing law, Mr. Goldner can be found either practicing oboe or English Horn and playing with the Lansdowne Symphony Orchestra or stargazing with his friends at the Delaware Valley Amateur Astronomers, for whom he also serves as president.
