His practice is focused on Employment Law and Personal Injury cases. Javier is a two-time president of the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association, founded its Judicial Diversity Committee, and has been nationally recognized as a Top Latino Lawyer by Latino Leaders magazine and a Top Lawyer under 40 by the Hispanic National Bar Association. Javier is Board Certified in Labor & Employment law, a distinction accomplished by fewer than 10% of attorneys in Texas. Javier has been repeatedly named a Super Lawyer and Rising Star by Texas Monthly magazine and a Best Lawyer in Dallas by D Magazine. In addition to his active employment and personal injury practice, Perez currently serves on the City of Dallas Civil Service Board and heads the Dallas Hispanic Bar Foundation.
