Joey Miller
Joey Miller is a transactional attorney in Austin, Texas who focuses on helping creative professionals in the entertainment, small business, and non-profit fields. He was licensed to practice law in Texas in 2011 and opened his private practice in June 2012. He represents musicians, writers, and artists, as well as businesses and non-profits in the creative and technology industries.
Joey earned his B.A. in Philosophy and German from Rhodes College (Memphis, Tennessee) in 2008 and his J.D. with a concentration in Intellectual Property from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2011. During college Joey was involved with many philanthropic organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Americorps, as well as local non-profits. During law school Joey volunteered with Legal Services of Eastern Missouri and with the local chapter of Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts. He also worked as an intern for the city prosecutor's office.
In his free time Joey enjoys playing, writing, and producing music, as well as developing websites. He recently co-founded a website focused on promoting local musicians in Austin and Nashville called the Foundry Project which will launch in winter of 2013.
