Lawrence Friedman
For over 25 years, Lawrence Friedman has helped families navigate complex laws and government programs to protect savings against long term care costs, minimize taxes, provide for individuals with special needs, qualify for Medicaid and other programs, evaluate long term care insurance, obtain guardianships, and draw special needs and other trusts, wills, and powers of attorney. Mr. Friedman has a Master of Laws in Taxation and has been Certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation. He also has received the New Jersey State Bar Association's Distinguished Legislative Service Award and is a former Chair of its Elder and Disabilities Law Section. For many years, Friedman has chaired the New Jersey State Bar Foundation's annual Senior Citizens Law Day and Special Needs programs and the Institute for Continuing Legal Education's Sophisticated Elder Law series as well as presented other workshops.
