Thomas Utzinger
Environmental Law and ConsultingThomas A. Utzinger is a lawyer, consultant, and writer with a background in environmental law, corporate governance, and sustainability. For more than twenty years, Thomas has held various roles in consulting, corporate, law firm, and government settings in the New York metropolitan area and Washington, D.C. His current focus is on climate change-related risks and opportunities facing the energy industry. Thomas has authored and co-authored numerous articles and other works on environmental and energy regulation for the American Bar Association, Thomson Reuters, LexisNexis, and ELR News and Analysis. Thomas earned an LL.M. in Environmental Law from The George Washington University Law School, a J.D. from Boston University School of Law, and a B.A. in History from Cornell University.
