Upon graduating law school, I had planned on working as a staff attorney at a non-profit organization as all of my internships were completed at non-profit organizations either in Chicago or San Diego. Unfortunately, upon graduation, jobs were not available in the areas I was seeking. So, in 2013, I opened my own law firm called “Law Offices of Alex Amar Kannan” focusing on immigration law cases.
