I have years of experience writing appellate briefs. I have written over 40 briefs and litigated over 200 habeas cases. I also have tried many cases including jury and bench trials. I appply this experience when representing my clients. I have an understanding of the justice system from both sides. I will aagressively fight to get my clients' wrongful convictions overturned.

My background is both interesting and varied. I began my legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami Dade County, FL. Later, I returned to Atlanta, Fulton County, GA, where I served as an Assistant District Attorney. After leaving the District Attorney's office, I transitioned into private practice. I focus my practice on three primary areas of the law: Criminal Defense, Entertainment, and Hospitality. I'm a North Carolina native and graduated from Duke University. I then attended both the University of Georgia Terry College of Business and School of Law and graduated with a joint Master of Business Administration in Finance and law degree, Juris Doctor Magna Cum Laude. I'm licensed to practice in both Georgia and North Carolina.
