I have almost two decades of litigation expertise in Illinois law, across both state and federal jurisdictions. I am experienced in every phase of trial advocacy and I am a member of the Federal Trial Bar. In addition to my trial work, I preside as Arbitration Chair for both Cook and Lake Counties, as well as for various private organizations. I also serve as a certified mediator for the Chicago Bar Association.

Al Domanskis' legal career began in 1977 as a law clerk for the Honorable Edwin A. Robson of the United States Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Since that time, he has represented hundreds of businesses including partnerships, corporations, LLC's and individuals in business transactions. These include: acquisition and sales, financing, business planning and litigation if necessary.

Al also has extensive experience in real estate transactions and real estate financing, leasing and zoning. The firm also has a large estate planning practice.

Paul S. Steinhofer is an experienced civil and criminal first chair litigator who has tried numerous cases to verdict. His clients represent a broad spectrum of insurance companies and corporations for whom he has provided defense litigation representation in cases involving catastrophic loss, product liability, toxic tort litigation and construction litigation. One of his major clients is Siemens.

Some of Paul’s notable litigation successes have involved cases defending clients against claims of asbestos and benzene exposure. I represent employers and management, professional and executive employees in labor and employment matters, including: negotiating and drafting employment, severance and restrictive covenant agreements; wage-hour disputes; and whistleblower and EEO complaints. I also mediate employment disputes, manage workplace conflict and conduct sexual harassment and other third-party investigations in the workplace. I have a unique perspective because I have represented unions, companies and individuals in my 38 years of practice.
