As of November 2014 I will have been engaged as a full time practitioner for forty years. Over those years I have had the opportunity to represent clients in a wide variety of cases of many stripes. I started law school while a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories. An engineering education and background did not help with law school, but I find that many engineering principles, diligent analysis, and problem-solving thinking help with actual law practice.
