I am married with two sons. During my 36 years of practice in business law, real estate, estate planning and probate, it has been my objective to provide a combination of expertise, honesty, and experience and close client relationships, resulting in a personalized and innovative legal representation to clients in the most efficient and cost effective manner.

I started law school while a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories. An engineering education and background did not help with law school, but I find that many engineering principles, diligent analysis, and problem-solving thinking help with actual law practice.

Robert McNamara initiated his legal career in Uniontown, Ohio, in 1982, after a five-year association with a firm in Akron, Ohio. Clark & Associates for 10 years. Since that time, I have practiced as a sole practitioner, currently located in Gahanna.

It is important to move a case forward after a conviction has been affirmed on appeal. Although the Ohio Supreme Court does not accept all criminal appeals, appealing to it will exhaust state remedies to allow federal review of constitutional claims.
