Current practice consists primarily of advising individuals and small business regarding insolvency and debt relief, and representing debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases filed in the Western and Eastern District of Wisconsin. Daily practice includes client counseling, exemption planning, preparation of schedules and statements, and litigation regarding exemptions, liens, transfers, and preferences under Sections 522, 544, 547 and 548 of the Bankruptcy Code. Litigation practice also includes representing clients in the trial and appeal of adversary actions, most typically claims brought against debtors under Section 523(a)(2)(A) and 523(a)(2)(B) of the Bankruptcy Code.
