I have years of experience writing appellate briefs. I have written over 40 briefs and litigated over 200 habeas cases. I also have tried many cases including jury and bench trials. My background is both interesting and varied. I began my legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami Dade County, FL. Later, I returned to Atlanta, Fulton County, GA, where I served as an Assistant District Attorney. After leaving the District Attorney's office, I transitioned into private practice. A native of Covington, Georgia, Amanda graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia with a degree in Political Science in 2008. In 2011, Amanda graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she served as Notes Editor of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law.
